Logmein is an application that allows you to remote access to a computer from a location. It controls and supports access to computers on PDAs and laptops. You need to have an internet connection for both computers.

Logmein is completely safe. It uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol, which gives encrypted data when sent to the Internet. Plus, it requires two passwords at the same time: Logmein for account and another for the destination computer. Passwords are encrypted using variables longitude algorithm which changes between 128 bits and 256 bits.

The application comes with a nice web interface that allows you to change the various options related to remote control, security or network configuration.

The free version has several options, though they do not include file transfer or remote printing, options can be found in the pro version.
