Sparkle is a module that Mac applications developers can use to make sure their programs are properly updated.
Spark only tells you that any program is available for the program, but it can download a new version and install it without user interaction. After the procedure is complete, the Sparkle program will be restarted. Users can decide whether or not to install a new version or not. Sparkle can display release notes for the latest updates.
Spark coordinates (and anonymously) five steps perfectly with your application. It can extract file updates in ZIP, DMG, TAR, TBZ, and TGZ format.
