Godot Engine
Nowadays, you can help to find different tools that help you create video games based on the integrated development environment with assistants for their easy use. While there will be mostly purchase or limited features, the GotTet engine has now emerged as an option that offers completely free and open source and allows you to create 2D and 3D games.
Its interface uses a screen of hygrical context windows, which aims to self-promote both designer and programmers, which is not easy as a drag-and-drop option like the new maker, still offers an accessible learning curve. Developers have provided extensive documentation so you can familiarize yourself with the program, and Python has very similarities in its high-level scripting language, so it is easy to understand.
You can export your project to multiple platforms: Commercial consoles like Windows, Linux, Mac, Android, IOS, and even PlayStation 3, 4, and Vita (although each console is still subject to its own developer publication restriction).
Among the features, the Godot engine includes the 2D engine (not the adaptation from the 3D one like Unite), which transforms the spittoons, can create a system of physics and collision, and can easily imitate that the 3D engine works with OpenGL ES2, so it's all about Compatibility with rendering effects, lighting (HDR) and anti-aliasing. It lets you export 3D models from a well-known environment like Blender, Maya, and 3D Studio Max.
